By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds last night 7-6. Travis Shaw ended the slump he had been in recently with a two-run homer in the first inning. Followed by a Jesus Aguilar solo shot the next at bat.
Chase Anderson picked up the win for the Brewers throwing nearly six innings of four run baseball. Jeremy Jeffries came in late relief to shut the door on the Reds in a windy night at Cincinnati.
The Brewers will now look to keep the momentum going as they face the Reds again tonight at 6:10. Wade Miley will take the mound for Milwaukee. It will be his first start as a Brewer.
