Lexi Wery was dominant for the Southern Door softball team on Friday, throwing a no-hitter against Crivitz on the way to a 13-0 win in 5 innings. Wery only allowed two baserunners in the game and struck out six Wolverines. Offensively, Kylie Nenias, Nicole Norton, and Jackie Atkins all had 2 hits and scored twice, with Norton also tallying 2 RBIs.
In Packerland Conference softball the Algoma Wolves traveled to Sevastopol and trounced the Pioneers with an 11-1 Algoma win. Madeline Prokash was dominant pitching for the Wolves, throwing a complete game and notching 11 strikeouts. Algoma also dominated at the plate including a six-run 6th inning, with the Wolves being led by Karina Naze, Makayla Guilette, and Jacklyn Dean all with multiple hits.
