By Nick Freimuth It had been two weeks that felt more like two years for Packerland Conference Softball players and coaches since their last game. Monday afternoon, Oconto hosted Algoma in what was like a ceremonial end to a rain/snow delay. The Blue Devils won the game 7-3 despite a very solid performance by Madeline Prokash back in the circle after a serious knee injury kept her out of softball for a year and a half. Prokash pitched four innings, allowed six hits, struck out five ad only allowed three earned runs. Emersyn Wallace led the Wolves at the plate. She finished 1×2 with a double. All three of Algoma’s runs were unearned.
