The Milwaukee Brewers offense continues to roll, as the Brewers gave its rendition of a Friday fish fry, beating the Miami Marlins 8-0. Friday night’s win is the 4th straight for the team, second straight night scoring 5+ runs, and the third shutout in the winning streak. Milwaukee was paced by Ryan Braun who went 2-5 with a 2-run homer in the 4th, and Travis Shaw who was 3-4 with a solo shot following Braun’s in the 4th. Jhoulys Chacin gets the win for the Brewers, his first with the team, and the Brewers advance to 12-9 on the season. Orlando Arcia was forced to leave the game in the bottom of the 8th after an apparent ankle injury while scrambling to return to first base after rounding too far. According to Brewers.com, x-rays came back negative, with no further update on his condition. The Brewers play the third game of the four game set vs. Miami on Saturday, with Brent Suter on the mound. First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 pm.
