By Brett Kinnard Milwaukee Brewers lost to the St. Louis Cardinals yesterday 5-3. Brent Suter started on the bump for Milwaukee and had a solid outing tossing five innings of one run baseball. The Brewers had taken a lead in both the top of the 9th and 10th inning of the game.
Carlos Martinez started on the mound for the Cardinals and was tough as usual. The lone bright spot in the lineup was Eric Thames who went 2×5 on the night with a solo shot early on in the game. The Brew Crew will look to bounce back in the final game of the series.
Milwaukee will now finish the series with the division rival Cardinals this afternoon. Junior Guerra will take the mound for Milwaukee. First pitch being thrown out at 12:15.
