By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Chicago Cubs yesterday 3-0. Chase Anderson started on the bump for Milwaukee and had a decent outing tossing six innings of two run baseball. The Brewers has a hard time getting any momentum going at the plate in this one.
Jose Quintana started for the Cubs and had the Brewers number the whole entire night. The lone bright spot in the lineup was Lorenzo Cain who went 2×4 on the night with two singles. The Brew Crew will look to bounce back with a new series beginning Monday.
Milwaukee will now start a series with the division rival Cardinals tonight. Jhoulys Chacin will take the mound for Milwaukee. First pitch being thrown out at 6:00.
