Lucille (Lucy) Knedle, age 93, formerly of Stangleville and Milwaukee, now residing at Atrium Post Acute Care Center of Kewaunee died on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Lucy was born on September 10, 1924, at Stangelville to the late Wencil and Mary (Wollak) Knedle.
Lucy graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1942. After graduation, Lucy moved to Milwaukee where she was employed as a secretary at Evinrude Motors and as a salesperson at Gimble-Shuster’s Department Store. Lucy enjoyed doing crafts and needlework along with traveling.
Survivors include nieces and nephews: Joseph R. (Dottie) Stodola, Mishicot; Mary (Skip) Albrecht, Kewaunee and Rita (Gary) Paape, Algoma, along with several great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Verna (Joseph G) Stodola.
Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Holy Rosary Church, Kewaunee until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the church by Fr. Peter Stryker. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Stangelville.

The family would like to thank the staff of Atrium Post Acute Care Center of Kewaunee, along with the staff of Unity Hospice of DePere for the care and concern shown to Lucy and her family during her residence there. A special thank you to cousin Barb Brusda of Milwaukee for all the help and concern offered to Lucy over the years.
