By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the St. Louis Cardinals last night 6-0. Jhoulys Chacin started on the bump for Milwaukee and had another tough outing allowing three earned runs in five innings pitched. The Brewers never seemed to get anything going at the plate.
It was Carlos Martinez for the Cardinals that made it tough to get any runs across the plate. He nearly pitched a complete game while striking out 10 in his dominant start.
The Brewers will now start a series with the division rival Cubs tonight. Brent Suter will take the mound for Milwaukee. First pitch being thrown out at 7:10.
