The Milwaukee Brewers are off to its best start in over a decade, advancing to a 3-0 record following a 7-3 win against the San Diego Padres earning the series sweep. The Brewers were led by offseason acquisitions Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain who combined for 8 hits, 4 RBI, and a walk. Third basemen Travis Shaw also proved to be an offensive force going 2-4 with 3 RBI. Brent Suter earned the win, pitching 5 innings, with 3 hits, 3 runs, and 4 strikeouts. The Brewers are off on Easter, returning to action Monday for the home opener at Miller Park, with Zach Davies on the mound facing the St. Louis Cardinals.
