The Milwaukee Bucks were able to defeat the Chicago Bulls without star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo on Friday night, 118-105. The Greek Freak missed the game due to an ankle injury sustained Wednesday night. Without Giannis, the Bucks got off to a slow start, trailing the Bulls 34-24 after the first quarter. Milwaukee got the offense going behind recently acquired guard Shabazz Muhammad, who came off the bench to lead all scorers with 21 points. While the Bucks were outrebounded 51-36, Milwaukee dominated offensively shooting 49.4% from the floor and going 50% from behind the 3-point arc. The Bucks defense also was dominant forcing 14 turnovers on 8 steals, while only giving up the ball 5 times. Milwaukee remains in the 8 seed in the Eastern Conference, half a game behind Miami. The Bucks are back in action Sunday afternoon, hosting the Spurs.
