UW-Oshkosh Men’s Basketball is on the national map for their incredible run to the National Championship game Saturday. Luxemburg-Casco graduates David Vlotho and Jake Zeitler each wore the black and gold of the Titans proudly this season. Vlotho played 21 minutes in the title game Saturday against Nebraska Wesleyan and hit three three-pointers in a 78-72 loss. Vlotho snared two rebounds in the game as well but UWO was unable to hoist the national championship trophy in Salem, Virginia.
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh had never appeared in the national championship game in men’s basketball before this year. They capped a historic season (25-8) and just six points behind the Division 3 champs.
