In Saturday night Packerland Conference action, Sturgeon Bay cruised to a 70-50 win over Gibraltar. Offense ruled the night in a game where both teams played on short rest, each playing Friday night. In fact, both teams surpassed their previous game’s scoring mark. For Sturgeon Bay, Mitchell Jackson led the way with a game-high 20 points, with Tanner DeGrave knocking down four three-pointers on his way to 14 points. In the losing effort, Trevor Reinhardt also knocked down four triples scoring 16 points, with teammate Alex Laughlin scoring 9 of his total 13 points in the first half for the Vikings. After playing 3 games in 5 days, Sturgeon Bay is off until Thursday when it hosts Algoma. Gibraltar is back in action Monday hosting Sevastopol.
