The Gibraltar Vikings (5-11, 2-8) dropped their Monday night game against the visiting Kewaunee Storm (7-11, 6-6) by a score of 64-55.
After overcoming a 12 point deficit in the first half the Vikings trailed 31-26 at halftime. Kewaunee controlled the run of play after the second half whistle sounded and never looked back.
The Storm was led by great shooting from Michael Halada (12 points), Tanor Borolini (11 points) and Ryan Carmichael (11 points).
Gibraltar saw a stellar performance from Ryan Murphy (17 points) and great play by Alex Laughlin (13 points) but it still wasn’t enough to calm the Storms offense.
The Vikings travel to Green Bay NEW Lutheran on Thursday for a 7:30 tip against the Blazers.
