The Wisconsin Badgers Football team is the only undefeated team in the newest release of the College Football Playoff rankings. Wisconsin moved into the top four for the first time this season despite an unblemished (12-0) record. Clemson is number one followed by Auburn at two and Oklahoma at three.
None of this matters however if UW cannot win the Big Ten Conference Championship game in Indianapolis on Saturday. Ohio State would love to play spoiler. A Wisconsin loss would likely move the (11-1) Alabama into the top four.
Miami was the biggest mover in the latest release. They fell from number two all the way down to number seven. Georgia is right behind Alabama at number six.
Wisconsin’s top four ranking is the highest for the program since the 1963 season. It is also the first time in school history the team went undefeated during the regular season.
Saturday’s Big 10 Championship game will kick off at 7:00 PM and air on FOX.
