On the last play of regulation Steelers kicker Chris Boswell tied the Heinz Field record with the longest field goal in the history of the stadium (53 yards) to beat the Green Bay Packers 31-28. Brett Hundley and the Packers offense played exceptionally well in the loss. Passing for 245 yards on 17/26 with three touchdowns and no interceptions, Hundley had his finest outing as a starter. His 134.3 passer rating was significantly better than Ben Roethlisberger/ 106.8 rating.
Jamaal Williams carried 21 times for 66 yards and added four catches for 69 yards plus two touchdowns. Davante Adams added five receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown. Randall Cobb finished with four catches for 58 yards and a score.
Pittsburgh saw Le’Veon Bell carry 20 times for 95 yards and add 12 receptions for 88 yards. Antonio Brown hauled in ten catches for 169 yards and two touchdowns.
The loss drops Green Bay to (5-6) on the season and will next host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday at noon.
