The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday 4-3. Brent Suter started on the bump for Milwaukee and tossed five innings of three run ball before coming out of the game. Corey Knebel came in the ninth to shut the door on the Reds and earn his 39th save on the year.
Orlando Arcia got the scoring underway in the fourth with a RBI fly out. In the fifth inning it was Neil Walker with and RBI double followed by an RBI single by Ryan Braun. Milwaukee is now two games back in the wild card and six games back in the division.
The Brewers will now open up a weekend series with the Cardinals on Friday. First pitch being thrown out at 7:15.
