It took five games to decide the Sevastopol vs. Sturgeon Bay Packerland Conference volleyball game Tuesday night. A great night of volleyball at Sevastopol started with extra points in the first game. The Clippers prevailed in game one 27-25. Sturgeon Bay played stellar again in game two and won 25-16.
Facing defeat, Sevastopol responded in an exceptional way. They won three straight games to win a come-from-behind match against their rivals. The Pioneers won 25-11, 25-23, and 15-7. Aly Differt tallied eight kills with 14 assists. Mya Ploor had seven kills, 15 assists and four ace serves. Brooke Hurth notched 17 digs and Steph Bemmann had four blocks in the win.
Sturgeon Bay was led by Hailey DeGrave with 15 kills. Koko Hartzell added 12 kills. Morgan Nelson had 15 assists at setter and Katie Frank chipped in with 11 assists.
