Sturgeon Bay Football earned their first win of the season Friday night at home against Coleman 41-6. Broadcast live on 104.1 FM WRLU, streamed worldwide at DoorCountyDailyNews.com and on Face Book LIVE as well, the Clippers played their best game of the season.
The senior leadership was incredible against the Cougars. Quarterback Ethan Knipfer excelled with 294 passing yards on 13/20 passing and two touchdowns. Jared Van Bramer had a career night hauling in six receptions for 219 receiving yards including 85 and 46-yard touchdowns.
Anthony Moore had an incredible 317 yards rushing and receiving last week and added 104 interception return yards tonight. He returned both of the second half interceptions for touchdowns to ice the game late.
Sturgeon Bay is now (1-1) in conference and travels to Kewaunee next Friday night for a MONLPC game on 104.1 FM WRLU. Pre-game starts at 6:30 with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 PM.
