The Green Bay Packers are (1-0) today and that really is all that matters. They trailed 3-0 at half time and held on for a 17-9 victory at Lambeau Field Sunday. Mike Daniels was the player of the game with seven tackles including a sack and a half, a forced fumble and two and a half tackles for loss. The defense held Eddie Lacy to five carries for three rushing yards.
It was not a banner day for Aaron Rodgers though either. The leader of the Pack threw an interception returned for a touchdown early. The score was wiped off the board due to a penalty but the interception stood. Rodgers finished 28/42 passing for 286 yards, one touchdown and a passer rating of 86.5.
Randall Cobb hauled in nine receptions for 85 yards. Jordy Nelson snared seven catches for 79 yards including one touchdown.
Green Bay travels to Atlanta for Sunday Night Football next week. It will mark the opening of the new stadium in Atlanta.
