The Milwaukee Brewers put the smack down on the Chicago Cubs last night, 15-2, in the second game of a three game series. Chase Anderson showed strong through the first five innings with only one walk and a single after 67 pitches. The pitching staff continued to shut out the Cubs into the eighth inning until Kyle Schwarber homered with one out. Brewers leadoff man Perez had a very good day, going 2-for-4 with the sac fly, a two-run homer in the fifth and a two-run single in the sixth. The Cubs were only able to squeeze out one more score in the bottom of the ninth.
Just three games out from taking the division, the Brew Crew is looking to sweep the Cubs today at 1:20 p.m. at Wrigley Field.
