What a week for father and son. Coast guard hero Marc Moore coordinated the rescue of 5,900 Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston, Texas earlier in the week. Son Anthony Moore tallied a total of 317 yards rushing and receiving for the Clippers Football Team Friday night. The Moore’s have plenty to celebrate after the impact each had on their teams.
Sturgeon Bay fell to Norway, Michigan 30-23 after playing their finest game of the season on 104.1 FM WRLU. A nearly three-hour commute to the U.P. did not slow Moore and his teammates. Ethan Knipfer finished 14/22 for 195 yards, two touchdowns and did a great job creating for the Clippers. Jarred Van Bramer was the leading receiver with six receptions for 52 yards and two touchdowns.
Sturgeon Bay falls to (0-4) and will return to Memorial Field next Friday to faceoff with Coleman.
