The Green Bay Packers have been keeping busy after Saturday’s cut-down day. The Packers address their outside pass rush by making it official with their signing of former San Francisco 49er Ahmad Brooks, claiming the Atlanta Falcons’ Chris Odom off of waivers, and sending Jayrone Elliot to the Dallas Cowboys for a 7th round conditional draft pick.
Sunday also marks the day NFL teams can create their 10-man practice squad. The Packers had hoped to sneak quarterback Taysom Hill and defensive tackle Brian Price onto their practice squad, but both were claimed by the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys respectively. The practice squad will be made up of quarterback Joe Callahan, wide receivers Michael Clark and DeAngelo Yancey, outside linebacker Reggie Gilbert, offensive linemen Kofi Amichia and Adam Pankey, cornerback Donatello Brown, inside linebacker Derek Mathews, safety Jermaine Whitehead, and defensive lineman Izaah Lunsford.
