In addition to Friday’s three games on the radio stations of DoorCountyDailyNews.com, the rest of the high schools in Door and Kewaunee County were busy as well.
Kewaunee led from the outset in route to a 41-7 blowout of Two Rivers. Quarterback Cody Bultman led the Storm offense with 284 yards passing and three touchdown passes. Lincoln Barta made sure the Storm’s defense was not left out of fun, scoring on an 85 yard interception.
Sevastopol improved to 2-0 in a 28-6 win over Wausaukee. The Pioneers controlled the game on the ground with Jacob Welsing opening the scoring from the goal line and Ethan Kroll adding three touchdowns of his own.
After taking a slim lead, Gibraltar fell to N.E.W. Lutheran 40-22. Trevor Reinhardt threw for three touchdowns on the evening.
Algoma could only gain 148 yards on the night as they fell to Manitowoc Lutheran 35-0.
