A home run in the top of the 11th inning by Jason Heyward gave the Chicago Cubs a 2-1 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers Saturday night. Both sides had excellent pitching with Junior Guerra and Josh Hader combining for six innings of shutout ball for the Brewers while Kyle Hendricks gave the Cubs gave up just one run in 5 innings while six other pitchers yielded just one other hit the rest of the game. Ryan Braun opened the game’s scoring with an RBI double before the Cubs answered in the 7th with a RBI single by Kris Bryant. Jared Hughes took the loss for the Brewers after giving up the game winning home run. The Brewers and the Cubs will meet in the rubber game Sunday afternoon at Miller Park with first pitch at 1:10 p.m.
