The Milwaukee Brewers could not hold on to a 3-2 lead in the ninth and fell to the New York Yankees 5-3 Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. Brewers’ closer Corey Knebel gave up a three run home run to Yankee rookie Clint Frazier in the ninth inning to cap New York’s comeback. Domingo Santana hit a three-run home run in the first inning for the Brewers, but Milwaukee (49-41) could not muster any insurance runs the rest of the way. The Yankees (45-40) evened the series at a game a piece as the two teams will play the rubber game Sunday to finish the unofficial first half of the season leading into the All-Star break.
