The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Cincinnati Reds last night 8-6 at the Great American Ball Park. The Reds jumped out to an early lead behind a four-run inning in the first. The Brewers made a comeback in the second and third innings with homers from Manny Piña, Orlando Arica, and Travis Shaw.
Junior Guerra started for ‘The Crew’ and had a tough time hitting his spots. He gave up eight earned runs in four innings of work. The bullpen kept it close but the Brewers were unable to fully close the gap on the Reds.
This was the first game of a three-game series this week with the Reds. The next game will be tonight with the first pitch being thrown out at 6:10.
