The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-2 Thursday afternoon in a tightly contested game. Chase Anderson fired six innings of two-run ball notching seven strikeouts on the day. The bullpen stayed hot throwing three scoreless innings including another save from Corey Knebel.
Travis Shaw lead the way for the bats going three for four with a solo shot in the first inning and two doubles to go along with that. Eric Sogard also went three for four with two doubles putting ‘The Crew’ five games over .500 on the year.
The Brewers will travel to Atlanta to take on the Braves Friday night. First pitch will be thrown out at 6:35.
