The Milwaukee Brewers won their third straight game Wednesday night. A decisive 7-4 victory featured 13 hits and not a single home run for the league leaders in long balls. Milwaukee was aggressive on the base paths and scored twice by forcing throwing errors by the Red Sox catcher.
Keon Broxton settled in nicely at lead-off. He had two hits and scored two runs for the ‘Brew Crew.’ Eric Thames, Travis Shaw, Domingo Santana and Hernan Perez all had multi-hit games. Ryan Braun did leave the game after his second at bat with a reported calf injury. He will likely be available to pinch hit today if the Brewers need him.
Milwaukee will look for the three-game sweep with first pitch from Miller Park today scheduled for 12:10 PM.
