The Green Bay Packers have won seven of 10 games at Ford Field under Head Coach Mike McCarthy. Players and coaches know a lot of work will need to be done between now and Sunday night for that stat to continue to slant in the Packers favor.
The NFC North Division title and a spot in the playoffs is on the line. Game time has been flexed to 7:30 PM. Tied at (9-6) a tie would actually be the best thing for both teams. If the two teams tie the Packers would win the division and the Lions would earn the sixth and final seed over the Redskins.
For the Packers this will be the fourth consecutive season that they will be playing for a division title. After losing the North to Minnesota last year, the Packers would love to have the division championship in their grasps for the third time in four years.
In the storied rivalry, Green Bay and Detroit have played each other in the final week of the season 13 times. Each team has won six of the games and there was one tie.
