The village of Sister Bay is planning on a bigger fireworks show this New Year’s Eve for just pennies on the dollar that it did it for last year. The second annual event boasts the only fireworks display in the county to ring in the New Year. Village administrator Zeke Jackson says they were able to cut the costs of the production without skimping on the display.
Sister Bay’s New Poppin’ Eve will take place December 31 near the village’s ice rink. Concessions will be sold to help support the ice rink and fireworks will start at approximately 8 p.m.
