The site for the Door County Habitat for Humanity’s 40th home build has been selected. The organization approved the purchase of the parcel on 6th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay after the city approved its counteroffer for the vacant lot near the former WireTech facilities. Door County Habitat for Humanity Executive Director David Van Dyke says its volunteers like to build in common neighborhoods.
Groundbreaking for the 40th home build will take place in the spring.
