Despite protests outside and inside the state capitol building, Wisconsin’s ten Electoral College members unanimously voted Monday as Donald Trump officially became president-elect. It was the first time since 1984 that a Republican won Wisconsin. Door County Republican Chair and Vice-Chair of the 8th Congressional District Bill Berglund says describes the moments before and after Republican Party of Wisconsin chair Brad Courtney announced the final vote.
Berglund says at-large delegate member Steve King was the only delegate present Monday that had voted back in 1984 for Ronald Reagan in the state Electoral College.
