The Door County Visitors Bureau is entering its 6th year of running the Big Bundle Up Warm Clothes Campaign in which they collect donated winter items to be distributed to local organizations and charities who will then pass those along to families in need this holiday season. Jon Jarosh from the DC Visitors Bureau says that this campaign is meaningful and he loves running it every year.
Jarosh says that the campaign has multiple different drop-off locations scattered throughout the county and that this is a collective effort by various tourist information centers who will continue to collect items until January 2nd, 2017. Up to this point in the campaign, Jarosh says that over 3,000 items have been donated thus far.
