The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans used relentless defensive pressure and hot shooting to torch the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes 91-51 in North Eastern Conference basketball Tuesday night. It was L-C’s first home game of the season and it didn’t take long for them to impress the fans in the stands. The Spartans went on a 17-2 run in the first five minutes of the game and never looked back while taking a commanding 51-16 lead into halftime. Senior Bryce TeKulve had an incredible hot hand hitting seven three pointers on his way to scoring a career best 35 points. Antony Otradovec added 13 points while hitting three triples. Luxemburg-Casco is now 3-0 in conference and 3-1 overall. Fox Valley Lutheran falls to 1-1 in the conference and 1-5 overall.
The next Spartan basketball broadcast game that can be heard on WBDK and streamed on DoorCountyDailyNews.com will be next Thursday, December 22 as the L-C girls travel to Southern Door to take on the Eagles in a non-conference game. Matt Piesler and Paul Schmitt will have the call starting at 7:00pm with the pregame show and tip-off at 7:15pm.
