Driving in winter weather conditions can be very dangerous at times. Depending on the conditions, roads can become slippery, visibility can become limited, and accidents can occur quickly before drivers have the appropriate time to react. In case of an emergency, Randy Sahs of Sahs Auto Inc. believes there three main items should be kept in the car at all times.
Sahs also mentioned that florescent road warning markers can also be helpful in case you need to mark your vehicle to other drivers so they are aware of its positioning to prevent further damage. According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Wisconsin has suffered 18,000 motor vehicle crashes during the winter months when roads are covered with ice, snow or slush over the past 5 years.
