The Ridges Sanctuary in Bailey’s Harbor is opening its doors this weekend to visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the nature preservation while incorporating the holiday season. This event has become popular over the years due to their wreath-making workshops & chestnut or marshmallow toasting over an open fire. Executive Director Steve Leonard believes this year’s event will be fantastic.
Leonard says that the trails will be open throughout the day as well as guided tours leading leading visitors to the famous Range Light lighthouse along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Admission to this event is free, however wreath making is $10, which includes materials for 1 wreath. Additional wreaths and swags are $5 each.
