A care package intended for a member of the United States military was apparently stolen recently in Luxemburg. Area Adopt-A-Soldier Director Nancy Hutchinson explains what happened the Tuesday before Thanksgiving when she decided to hand deliver a box for Joey Paider.
Hutchinson says the care package included a unique handmade fleece tie blanket that cannot be replaced. She is asking the responsible party to return the care package with no questions asked. The Door-Kewaunee County Adopt-A-Soldier program sends packages during the year to over 180 local men and women serving in the Armed Forces.
