The Door County Habitat for Humanity could be one step closer to acquiring the land it needs for its 40th home build. On Tuesday, the Finance and Purchasing Committee for the city of Sturgeon Bay will meet to discuss a counteroffer from Habitat for Humanity for property located in the old WireTech subdivision. Executive Director David Van Dyke says the land they are looking at would make for a great location for its next partner family.
The Finance and Purchasing Committee will take up the counteroffer during the closed session portion of their meeting on Tuesday beginning at 4:00 p.m.
