Sturgeon Bay Rotarians are working hard to make sure big things happen at Little Lake. Volunteers got down and dirty Saturday as around 90 trees and emergent plant plugs were planted around the water. The Rotary club has teamed up multiple other organizations to try and bring new life to Little Lake at Sunset Park. Sturgeon Bay Rotary Environmental Protection Co-Committee Chair Roger Anderson details the long-term plans for Little Lake.
The hope is that Little Lake will be able to recapture its glory days once the transformation is complete. Video of the kickoff speech that was given to volunteers before the digging started is below this story.
