With Tuesday’s election being only five days away, Kewaunee County officials are making efforts to better prepare their citizens for when they come to cast their ballots. The county has been encouraging citizens to vote early through absentee voting. County Clerk Jamie Annoye says the turnout for absentee voter participants has been high so far this year.
Annoye reports that at least 7% of the eligible voters in Kewaunee County have already cast an absentee ballot with their municipal clerk. For those voters heading out to the polls on Tuesday, Annoye says there are some things to keep in mind when heading to the polling locations
The polls will be open from 7:00 am-8:00 pm on November 8th, and eligible voters in Kewaunee County will have the option to cast either a paper ballot or use a touch screen voting machine.
