The Bucks hosted the Toronto Raptors Friday night for their final preseason game. Sort of. With 5:58 left in the first quarter, a long and heated discussion began with game officials and coaching staff, after slippery conditions on the newly renovated court at BMO Harris Bradley Center.
With preseason games really meaning very little, the staff and officials decided to err on the side of caution and pulled the plug before serious injury occurred. Bucks guard O.J. Mayo and the Raptors' Amir Johnson and DeMar DeRozen all took a tumble in the first six minutes of the contest.
The Bucks immediately took to Twitter and offered any ticketholding fan the opportunity to exchange Friday's ticket for any home game in November.
The Bucks hit BMO Harris Bradley Center again for their home season opener against, ironically, the Raptors November 2.
The new court at BMO Harris Bradley Center was completed at the end of September.
