Sturgeon Bay's 2013 football season came to an end last night in Brillion with a continuous clock running for nearly all of the second half.
Trailing 34-6 at the half, the Clippers did have a couple explosive plays. Ross Wierzba, Cooper Nellis and Riley Cordier each caught touchdown passes from Matthew VanBramer.
The Clippers finished the season 0-9, but did so with their heads held high; in a season marred by injuries and a lack of depth.
Pete VanBramer was our guest color commentator last night. The 1955 first team, all-conference football player helped 104.1 FM WRLU conclude alumni season with a number of great stories and memories.
