Green Bay Packers Coming To Sturgeon Bay Tonight



Former Packers players Jerry Kramer, Paul Coffman, Lynn Dickey, Frank Winters, Dexter McNabb, Tony Fisher, Charles Jordan, and other alumni will compete in the second annual Green Bay NFL Alumni Celebrity Fishing Tournament on July 18 and 19 in Sturgeon Bay.

Packers assistant special teams coach Chad Morton and offensive assistant/special teams coach John Rushing will also be in attendance. Local celebrities including Casey Rabach and Chris Greisen will also participate in the event.

The two-day event will be held at The Lodge at Leathem Smith and will feature a banquet on Thursday night, followed by breakfast, the fishing tournament, a shore lunch and an awards reception on Friday, July 19.

All of the players will be at the banquet on Thursday night to sign autographs and mingle with attendees. The media is welcome to attend both the banquet on Thursday night and the lunch/reception on Friday. The event is scheduled as follows:

Thursday, July 18 (Tonight)

6:30 p.m.         Participants and players attend the opening night banquet.

 

Friday, July 19 (Tomorrow)

6:30 a.m.         Participants and players attend breakfast in The Lodge lobby and check in for event.

8 a.m.              Fishing tournament begins. Participants depart from the hotel harbor.

1 p.m.              Fishing tournament ends. Participants and players weigh their catches and eat lunch at The Lodge.

2 p.m.              Awards reception is held and prizes are given out for all categories.
