The Green Bay Blizzard indoor football team is up for sale, according to the team’s chief operating officer and part owner Art Clarkson. He announced yesterday, "This is a great group of owners who have taken a struggling franchise and turned it into one of the league's premier teams on and off the field. However, the time has come where the team needs fresh ownership that can provide the time and funds it will take to continue building the Blizzard's success."
The Green Bay Blizzard was founded in 2003, with the current owners purchasing the team in 2010. Blizzard attendance last year averaged more than 3,800 people per game. That was a slight increase from the previous season. The current owners of the team have till September 1, 2013 to find a new buyer or it will suspend operations.
