Brewers Injury Woes Continue

Brewers first baseman Corey Hart had another injury setback this week. After little progress with his surgically repaired right knee, Hart is now having trouble with his left knee and may require another surgery. The news could signal the unofficial end to Hart’s season before it even got underway.

Starting pitcher Marco Estrada has also experienced more problems with his left hamstring during an appearance Sunday with the Timber Rattlers. Estrada won't be allowed to even throw a bullpen session until the hamstring soreness is gone, so he won't be back in the rotation any time soon.

Ryan Braun was eligible to return from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, but he has shown no signs of improvement. The nerve issue between the thumb and index finger on his right hand seems to be more serious than what was first believed.

Carlos Gomez is also still out after spraining his shoulder Sunday. His injury does not appear to be anything major however. He could return as early as tonight against the Cubs.
