The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks will each take a long hard look at what Sturgeon Bay High School graduate Jake Bscherer has to offer their teams during rookie orientation camps during each of the next two weekends.
Following the NFL Draft last Saturday night, a member of the Seahawks player personnel department made a call to Bscherer’s cell phone to invite him to rookie camp. Jake said the call came quite late in the day Saturday. He was hoping for a call earlier and had thought maybe Saturday was not his day to be welcomed into the NFL.
The former Wisconsin Badger turned Minnesota-Duluth Bulldog, will step into camp at 6’ 7” tall weighing in at 305 pounds. The latest member to join the ranks of Clipper graduates turned NFL athletes joined the “Country Music Morning Show With Nick Freimuth” at 9:30 AM this morning on 104.1 FM WRLU.
Audio from the interview will appear in tomorrow's sports report.
