The Milwaukee Brewers have won three games in a row after securing the series against the San Francisco Giants with a 4-3 walk-off win Wednesday at Miller Park. Rookie utility player Blake Lalli came through in the clutch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning to launch Milwaukee to its first winning streak of the 2013 season.
The night started with Kyle Lohse pitching a perfect game into the fifth inning Wednesday and a no-hitter into the sixth. Lohse wound up with his third quality start in as many outings but did not factor in the decision.
After the series finale between the Giants and Brewers, Miller Park will next play host to the Chicago Cubs for a three game series starting tomorrow.
