Ryan Braun provided the only offense for the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday against the Chicago White Sox. His two-run homer tied the game at 2 in the fourth inning but Chicago held the Brewers there to win it 7-2 during an exhibition game at Miller Park.
Chicago designated hitter Adam Dunn scored four and drove in two runs for the White Sox. Chicago’s other score came from a solo home run by Bryan Anderson in the ninth. The Brewers had little chance of keeping up, seven White Sox pitchers held them to just three hits.
Milwaukee’s loss falls on starting pitcher Wily Peralta. He allowed four runs, two earned, on four hits and three walks in 4 1/3 innings. After another exhibition game this afternoon, Milwaukee opens up the season Monday against the Rockies.
