Lady Storm Takes On Xavier In Division Three Sectional Final

The Kewaunee girls basketball team will meet Xavier head on tonight in a WIAA Division 3 state sectional final in Ashwaubenon.

The Storm barely squeaked by Wrightstown Thursday night with their first lead of the night coming in overtime, but that was all that mattered. Kewaunee (24-1) won by three points and is still in the running for the D3 state title. Xavier (24-1) is also coming off of a close game, beating Fox Valley Lutheran by just one point Thursday.

The winning team gets to play in Green Bay Friday in the WIAA D3 state tournament semi-final.
