Algoma Girls Fight For Division Four Sectional Final Win On WRLU

The Algoma girls basketball team heads to Waupaca tonight to take on Oconto in a WIAA Division 4 sectional final at 7 p.m.

The Wolves (23-2) had no trouble shooting down Oshkosh Lourdes Thursday night, winning by 23 points in Seymour. Oconto (21-4) beat Amherst 60-55 in overtime Thursday to get to tonight's final.

The winning team gets to play in Green Bay Thursday in the WIAA D4 state tournament semi-final.

Nick Freimuth and Paul Schmitt will have the call tonight on 104.1 FM WRLU from Waupaca. Coverage begins at 6:30 pm with the tip at 7 pm.
